In China, Softbank investment will join forces with Shanghai-based Tianyi Securities Co Ltd which has 24 sales offices and mainly underwrites initial public offerings.
In the UK, the company will ally with Shield Corporate Finance Ltd, an M&A brokerage specialising in the biotechnology sector.
The Japanese firm aims to gain M&A know-how through the alliance. Tianyi Securities and Shield Corporate Finance Ltd will team up as well, creating a three-way partnership, the report said.
